Description : Banjo
A quintessentially American instrument, super expressive and easy to play. Quickly create realistic banjo parts, whether it’s a complex picking part or a solo. Create full-fledged country or bluegrass compositions, add a folk flavor to pop songs or video game soundtracks with the stunning realism and authenticity of Special Reserves: Nashville Banjo .
Special Reserves: Nashville Banjo brings you as close as possible to the varied sound and musicality of a live performer. We sampled the sustain and harmonics with a high number of circular repetitions per note. They contain up and down strokes across three dynamics over a wide range. When playing fast, an additional set of samples is triggered for even more variety, so you don’t have to worry about the machine gun effect. For added authenticity, we also separately sampled the string that maintains the sustained tone: it is used to provide harmony.
The ready-to-play tone fits seamlessly into country, bluegrass, folk and other genres. Customize the sound and characteristics with eight intuitive controls in a single-page GUI. Want a bold, punchy sound for solos? Use the Release noise and Pluck knobs to achieve a clearer, more realistic sound. Playing a heavy picking part? Set it to monophonic to avoid overlapping notes, and use the Response knob to improve the sound for live performance. All controls can be automated and work with MIDI Learn.
Banjo players change the tone by moving their hands to different fret positions as they play. We’ve fully sampled both hand positions, so you can use the Hand position knob to get a warmer, rounder tone in the high position, or a brighter tone in the low position.
