Jolene is the second release in our Boutique Drums series . While Ruby caters to heavy metal, Jolene is all about vibe that lends itself well to indie, alternative, country and pop.
As always, we’ve included a collection of ready-to-mix presets suitable for a variety of musical contexts, from the soft, intimate intensity of “Sunshine” to the solid, inviting feel of “Lola.”
We’ve included five different hi-hat states and 8-note live grooves that automatically adjust to the tempo of your DAW: closed, normal, slightly open, half-open and fully open; grooves recorded at 90/120/140 bpm.
Crossfade hi-hat grooves with release triggers? Easily. When the mod wheel is down, a loop is played while the hi-hat is closed. When you raise the modulation wheel, the hi-hat opens up. And it’s amazing!
