The Kush Tweaker discrete feedback-based amplifier produces an effect that goes well beyond its technical specifications:
a tight yet slow low end, dusty high frequencies, and transients that are smoothed out yet remain expressive. The overall result is dark,
dense, and gritty—an aggressive blend of tonal colors that accumulate rather than simply layering on top of one another.
As the “Intensity” parameter is increased, the waveform gradually takes on a “hotter” character:
it begins with a subtle warmth, progresses to sharper edges, and eventually becomes completely “scorched.” The TWK model excels
at taming overly harsh digital sounds in drums, bass, guitars, and synths, imbuing otherwise bland or “polite” tracks
with a distinct, vintage, hazy grit.
