Description: Guzheng is the 5th installment of our famous Plectra series, which covers plucked and stringed instruments from all over the world. Also known as the Chinese zither, the guzheng is an ancient instrument consisting of 21 strings strung over a long, decorative wooden body with movable tuning bridges.
We collaborated with classically trained musician and sound designer Qianqian Jin, who provided both standard and extended articulation for this collection. The instrument is equally suitable for authentic Chinese music as well as modern scores or soundtracks.
Console is our new mixer and modular effects rack, designed to give you complete control over your instrument’s tone and space. Unlike our previous FX racks, which were limited to a small number of preset modules, Console gives you 30 effect modules to choose from! They include multiple EQs (digital and analog style), compressors, spatial FX, modulation FX, amps, distortion pedals, reverbs and a choice of over 30 custom IR cabinets! With the console, you can easily save and load effect chains or presets between projects or even different ISW instruments. It also allows you to mix mic positions with customizable inserts on each one.
TACT – Total Articulation Control Technology 2.0 – Plectra Series 5 – Guzheng includes an updated version of TACT allowing you to customize the assignment and triggering of all articulations! Everyone has their own preference for how to write for virtual instruments, and with TACT you can create the perfect setup for your DAW.
