Accordion
The Accordion is capable of producing four timbres for the right keyboard (namely piccolo, concertina, clarinet, and bassoon), as well as two bass registers for the left.
Balalaika
The Balalaika is used as a concert solo, ensemble and orchestral instrument.
Modern Russian orchestras featuring folk instruments use five varieties of the balalaika: prima, second alto, bass and double bass (contrabass).
Of these, only the prima is considered a solo virtuoso instrument. It is this uniquely essential variety that we are happy to introduce as the latest addition to our library of virtual instruments: “Balalaika”
Bayan
The Bayan is a musical instrument, with full chromatic scale on the right of the keyboard and basses and chord accompaniment on the left. The bayan is one of the most perfect chromatic accordions in existence today. Known internationally as a “button accordion”, a multi-timbral version of the bayan is commonly used in concert performance as a solo, ensemble and orchestral instrument. The multi-timbral bayan is available with 4 voices, providing 15 different registers by selecting various combinations of the voices.
Domra
The Domra alto is Russian traditional instrument in the domra family. As with all domras, it has three strings but sounds an octave lower.
Duduk
The Duduk is a traditional Armenian woodwind instrument, originating in the fifth century.
