Description: A complete mixing channel strip for your bass.
HoRNet L3012 is a channel strip plugin designed for bass players, containing all the tools needed to sound good bass.
The plugin is the result of a collaboration between HoRNet Plugins and Lusi, an Italian bass player, and aims to provide you with the tools you need to handle bass in the studio and live in a single package.
The HoRNet L3012 features an analog tube preamp section that can be overdriven to add grain to your sound, followed by a soft “bass boost” circuit and a transient shaper that makes your bass attack and peaks great. Then you get high and low pass filters, a shelving filter, and a parametric mid band to lock in resonances and shape your sound, the last stage being a compressor modeled after the famous VCA compressor often used for bass.
HoRNet L3012 is a very lightweight and versatile plug-in that provides the highest sound quality with analog modeling technology in every part of the processing chain, for this reason internally it uses what we call “intelligent oversampling”, allowing the plug-in to select the amount of oversampling (up to 4x) in depending on the sampling rate of your DAW settings.
The GUI is fully vector graphics and hardware accelerated, so it looks good at any screen resolution and does not add to the processor load.
We’ve also included two presets designed by Lusi to show you how this plugin can be used with two of the most popular bass models (you’ll guess which ones by the preset name), so just make sure you click on the yellow side of the input meter, and all is ready.
