Description :
GForce MkII is dedicated to the extremely rare and highly sought-after original dual-manual instruments: the Mellotron® MkI/MkII and the Chamberlin® Musicmaster.
While M-Tron Pro IV remains focused on the chromatic sounds of the Mellotron M400—and is likely the first “Tron” you would want to acquire—its sibling, GForce MkII,
is a unique and exclusive library featuring specialized instruments designed for the rhythms, accompaniments, and distinctive playing styles
characteristic of the earlier Mellotron MkI/MkII and Chamberlin models.
Created in the UK in 1963, the dual-manual Mellotron MkI/MkII was conceived as the ultimate home entertainment console.
The 35 keys on the left manual played a combination of 18 rhythms and accompaniments (66 in GForce M-Tron MkII),
while the 35 keys on the right manual (also 18 notes) played 18 lead sounds (66 in M-Tron MkII
).
GForce MkII was designed for composers and producers seeking access to the expressive timbres of the original dual-manual instruments—the Chamberlin®,
Mellotron® MkI, and MkII. Special attention was paid to the rhythms and accompaniments, capturing the era spanning the 1950s through the late 1960s.
