Ghost is an exceptional synthesizer that seamlessly integrates two titans of digital synthesis: Wavetable and Frequency Modulation (FM). It maximizes the strengths of both approaches, showcasing deep functionality in a clean, easy-to-use interface that culminates in a fresh, innovative, and deeply inspiring experience.
The excellent design and interface make Wavetable and FM synthesis intuitive and fun to learn. The selection and implementation of effects are brilliant. The ability to load the same effect multiple times is a comprehensive feature. Routing blocks on the FM matrix can accept modulation from various modulation sources. This provides an exceptional workflow for controlling the depth of frequency modulation. The LFOs are flexible and can be used as multi-stage envelope generators (MSEGs). The Wavetable oscillator is feature-rich, with great potential for sound design. Users can import samples directly into the Wavetable oscillator for re-synthesizing.
