SOUND CREATION
This instrument offers two main sound options. Type I features a clean, unaltered guitar signal, recorded with multiple microphones and mixed in a single slider. Type II takes the same signal and records it to tape, enriching it with the natural saturation of tape, adding warmth and flutter.
With the X slider, smooth sustain notes gradually transition into a softly played tremolo, revealing the full potential of the instrument’s finely crafted sonic layers. Additional layers, such as Skala+, add sonic splashes that spread across the stereo field, while Okean captures the calm vastness of nature and its unpredictable energy.
INSIDE THE INSTRUMENT
FX
The FX section complements the vintage character of the DAR with a suite of classic effects. Vibrato adds subtle pitch shifts, while the Warm effect adds rich, nonlinear distortion for a gritty, edgy sound. The Shimmer effect combines the luscious depth of plate reverb with pitch shifting and chorus to create an otherworldly atmosphere. Echo and reverb create expansive, immersive soundscapes.
Movement
The Movement panel includes a 12-step sequencer and two LFO modules designed to breathe life and rhythm into your sound. These elements can be connected to all key sound layers, making them the heart of the instrument’s dynamic capabilities.
Master
The Master panel features two vintage octave filters that split the signal into 10 and 16 bands. Additionally, a three-band shelving EQ with adjustable crossover frequencies, as well as pitch, noise, and output controls, provide maximum flexibility in shaping the final tone.
