Transcode: The original version of the lesson from the disc was almost a gigabyte in size due to unoptimized, unfiltered video and uncompressed audio (PCM). Without significant loss of quality or harm to the educational material (lossless audio, same resolution, minimal filtering), we were able to reduce the size by half. The result is repacked in mkv format. It’s easier to store and use.
