Description :
Melodyne gives you unmatched access to all the musical details of your recordings and samples – note for note.
This is made possible through careful analysis that digs deep into your recordings and samples and recognizes and understands the musical relationships within them:
individual notes and their characteristics, scales, keys and chords, timing, tempo, tone color.
And with Melodyne, you can edit it all intuitively. Both with vocals and with any instruments, including polyphonic ones such as piano and guitar.

Additional information:
  • Multi-track audio editing using Melodyne technology
  • Suitable for monophonic, polyphonic audio materials
  • Direct access to individual notes
  • Ideal for wide sound design
  • Transferring a melody from track to track
  • Works as a plugin or standalone
  • Connect via ReWire to compatible DAWs
  • ARA Audio Random Access support in compatible DAWs
    With the help of the program you can:

    • manipulate notes, editing intonation, melody, rhythms, dynamics and much more;
    • view and edit multiple tracks simultaneously;
    • determines tempo, scale and tuning, editing all important musical aspects as completely as notes;
    • apply innovative sound design;
    • Thanks to its advanced technology and flexible interface, Melodyne is highly adaptable: the utility can be used as a plugin or as a standalone application.

    The program has an English-language interface, with many settings. Melodyne supports AAX, VST, AU, RTAS interfaces and works perfectly with all DAWs. It will be useful to specialists, for example, correcting vocals and ordinary users who dream of creating melodies on their own.

New in Melodyne Studio 5:
New technologies in less time: With a fundamentally improved Melody algorithm, Melodyne makes your vocal editing even better than before. With perfect, natural corrections at keystroke. With the Chord Track, you can adapt notes at lightning speed to suit the song, including chord recognition. And with the unique Fade Tool, you can create note-based fades – even in polyphonic recordings and samples.
All this is new:

      • ability to edit tonal and noise-like components separately using the “Melodic” algorithm
      • more musical analysis of pitch deviations
      • Chord track and chord grid for pitch editing, chord recognition
      • Fade Tool and Leveling Macro for editing dynamics
      • additional algorithm (“Percussive Pitched”) and other algorithm improvements
      • search functions for keyboard shortcuts, saving sets of keyboard shortcuts

The vocals are even better: Melodyne confirms its main purpose. The “Melodic” algorithm used for vocals can now distinguish between unrelated noise-like components of notes – that is, voiceless consonants (such as sibilants like “s”) and breath sounds. Even when they coincide. Although all pitch changes and timing are implemented in a proven manner with respect to tonality components, various rules that closely mimic the natural behavior of the human voice govern the manipulation of sibilants. So now when you work with Melodyne, you automatically get the highest possible sound quality and the most natural results.

Professionals will be pleased to know that they no longer have to isolate each individual sibilant manually. This saves a lot of time and provides a more meaningful display in the note editor. At the same time, the results sound much better because the automation works more accurately and the overlaps between sibilants and tonal characteristics are taken into account.
Sibilant detection offers not only acoustic benefits, but also new creative possibilities: with the Sibilant tool, you can adjust the balance between the sibilants and tonal components of a note. Sibilants can be weakened, muted, emphasized or even isolated – anything is possible. This way, you get the perfect de-esser that only affects problem areas and has no side effects on other components of the vocal sound.
Modeled after human hearing: Why do some notes sound different from others? Fluctuations in pitch affect the timbre of a vocal performance because it is through them that passion and emotional complexity find expression. In other words, they give him a human dimension. But for their contribution to be positive, the nature, magnitude and precise timing of such fluctuations are critical.
A note doesn’t necessarily sound sharp or flat just because it isn’t “mathematically precise.” It’s just that individual, often very short fragments irritate us. Sometimes at the beginning, sometimes at the end, sometimes somewhere in the middle. It is these important segments that must be perfectly tuned. The presence of any hesitation before or after such segments does not bother us – on the contrary, we feel that they add life and naturalness to the sound.
Melodyne now accurately identifies these problem areas, and the offset displayed in the Note Inspector is calculated from the pitch of each note only at the key moment, rather than across its entire duration. As a result, double-clicking (to set the note offset to zero) now produces exactly the correct musical result.
Chord grid and track: Work with chords efficiently, adapt notes quickly. Melodyne 5 gives you a chord track that is linked to the Pitch Grid in the sheet music editor. This makes working with chords much simpler and easier, and harmonies much more understandable. Because you can see at any time which tones are compatible with the current chord and the ability to adapt notes accordingly at lightning speed. This is useful when you are changing chords and if you want to harmonize any sample with your music. It works like a dream!
Autopilot for chords. Melodyne’s chord recognition technology is so advanced that it can look at tracks individually or together – even an entire mix – and identify the chords formed by combining their notes. It analyzes your recordings quickly and reliably and automatically populates the chord track. This makes working with chords even easier.
Dynamic Editing: The Fade Tool gives you very effective control over the dynamics of your recording. Individually for each note. Even in a chord. It’s unique and offers completely new creative possibilities for dynamic editing. And because fades in Melodyne belong to the notes themselves, they are automatically saved when you move or copy notes.
Dynamic range control. Leveling Macro makes loud notes quieter and quiet notes louder, it adjusts the difference in volume. Even – thanks to Melodyne technology – in polyphonic recordings. So if one or more notes in a chord are too quiet and are being drowned out by the others, you can easily raise them to the desired level.
Improved algorithms – “Percussive Pitched”. This new algorithm was specifically designed for instruments such as the tabla, berimbau or 808, whose notes, although percussive in nature, still have a recognizable pitch.
“Robust Pitch Curve”. With this new option, you can get better audio quality when editing certain signals, such as those that have a lot of reverb. When enabled, monophonic algorithms use a pitch curve that has been slightly blurred.
“Complex”. This playback type has been improved and can now be used as flexibly as “Tonal” in terms of formants.
No more .mdd files. Melodyne data that was previously stored in separate “.mdd” files is now stored within the audio files themselves, making file directories cleaner and easier to share projects with.

New in Version 5.4.1:
The update to Version 5.4.1 contains improvements and bug fixes, which is why we recommend it to all users.
Language localization: Switching to the French language version no longer worked, the previously selected language was retained.
Windows: Under certain circumstances on some Japanese, Korean or Chinese systems, Melodyne failed to launch.
macOS: On some systems, graphic errors could occur after closing the toolbox.
ARA: It was sometimes impossible to edit the Chord and Key tracks.
