Description :
KickDrum is a new approach to creating electronic music. Instead of layering samples, using multiple plugins, or refining other people’s ideas, you create a sound from scratch.
With a phase engine, real-time modulation, and wavetable control, KickDrum allows you to create unique sounds, a rare feature in the plugin world.
Analyze Function
KickDrum’s analyze function turns a sample into a fully editable patch with restored pitch and gain envelopes, as well as texture and wavetable generation capabilities.
-
-
- Drag a sample or an entire song into the plugin
- or select it in the sampler’s built-in browser.
- Select the range you are interested in or analyze it immediately.
- The resulting patch is a functional copy of the original sample, ready for further manipulation.
-
3D-Editable Wavetable
Create your own tones using built-in modular chains for each wave and arrange them in the wavetable the way you like
-
-
- Press “+” and enter the wave creation mode.
- Draw your own shape using Bezier curves, choose a tone from an existing sample, or combine the two.
- Further processing with other modules such as linear phase equalizer, saturation, etc.
- Finally, select a wave using the wave selector with options for symmetry, blending, and normalization.
- Creating your own sound exactly the way you want it has never been easier.

Modular Device Chain
Create your signal path with a reorderable chain of processing devices Devices
· Maintain complete control over every stage with the device’s solo and waveform functions.
· Press the “S” button on a device to solo it and its subdevices to audition individual sections.
Signal Path
Maintain complete control over every stage with the device’s solo and waveform features.
Press the “S” button on a device to solo it and its subdevices for auditioning individual sections.
Each device has its own waveform, which can be toggled and customized in transparency, color, and drawing modes.
Edit the pitch curve while monitoring spectral changes in real time using the EQ. Transparent device control allows you to select one device while the controls for another device remain visible.
Linear Phase Equalizer
KickDrum’s unique approach provides linear phase equalization without playback lag.
-
-
-
- Double click on the spectrum to create a filter band.
- Adjust gain, frequency, filter type, dB/octave by dragging the slider up/down.
- Or mask multiple stripes and adjust them at once.
- Add as many stripes as needed.
- Or select a band and press the frequency key on the keyboard to assign it to a key.
- Shape harmonics, refine overtones and balance sound while maintaining phase.

KickDrum’s audio engine
processes individual stages of the device from start to finish before moving on to the next layer. Unlike traditional synthesizers, which produce audio block by block within a specified time budget, KickDrum renders audio in a DSP-free stream and seamlessly adds the fully rendered sample to the output signal. This allows KickDrum to perform resource-intensive processing without exceeding the DSP stream’s time budget. This approach is ideal for sounds that don’t change over time, such as kick drums and snare drums in most EDM genres. Imagine a sampler that rebuilds the sample from scratch each time you edit, ensuring high-quality processing in a non-destructive workflow. This new approach enables a number of unique features, such as synchronized zero crossing, linear phase alignment with no playback latency, a stable master output, and negative pre-delay in reverb. Adjustable Phase Zero Crossing
Does your kick need to cross the zero mark at exactly 1/16 of the grid in your track to transition perfectly into your bass?
· Drag the oscillator’s phase control and position it where you want the zero-crossing to occur.
· Oscillation will begin from that point, forward and backward in time, ensuring the zero-crossing is maintained and the signal phase remains exactly where you want it.
· Maintain a controlled, guaranteed transition into the bass.
Auto Gain
Set your desired amplitude and KickDrum will stick to that limit, maintaining an accurate output signal.
· No matter what you do to the signal, its maximum amplitude is determined by the value you specify.
· This isn’t a typical limiter that applies a variable gain envelope, but rather one that immediately determines the maximum signal value and multiplies each signal sample by the correct compensation factor.
· This maintains the balance in your sound as you intended and ensures a controlled peak at the output. Sampler
Use the Sample Device to work with audio files Switch in Place
· Click the folder icon to open a pop-up sample browser window to browse folders and samples, or entire songs on your hard drive.
· Use the up/down arrows to cycle through samples and preview them to instantly see how they fit with your current sound.
· Quickly find the best match.
Sample Handling
Edit samples directly in KickDrum
· Drag the sample left and right along the timeline.
· Use the envelope to shape its gain curve.
· Use the vertical handles to stretch or trim the sample.
