Has anyone tried this on Mac yet? Want to check it out but have always been disappointed with Arturia instruments working on Mac…. Before I find a way to clear out 50 gb, just curious if anyone has had any luck?
No luck at all, had to roll back versions already, those patches dont do anything
Same here, patches wouldn’t work
Dang – well thanks for the heads-up and responding. Appreciate it.
Followed every step 3 times over, it doesn’t work.
I’m getting ‘the disk you attached was not readable by this computer’. Never had this before, previous Arturia cracks worked perfectly. Anybody else had this?
Works great on Intel MBP running Sequoia, as well as M1 MBP running Sonoma. Here are some instructions I typed up.
ARTURIA COLLECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Note – These cracks work on both Intel and Apple Silicon, even though they are not as up to date as FX v5 (which only seems to work on Intel, not Apple Silicon for me).
0. Before installing anything, we need to A) prep the workstation with the tools that the patcher uses to perform its patching functions, then we need to ensure B) Terminal has its needed permissions. We’ll do this first, and then we’ll C) install the desired plugins, then D) patch them individually.
A – PREP
1. With your internet connection active, open Terminal.
2. Copy and paste the following command line into Terminal, then press Enter/Return. This will prompt the system to install Xcode developer tools.
xcode-select –install
3. A pop-up should appear stating: “The “Xcode-select” command requires the command line developer tools. Would you like to install the tools now?”
Click “Install” (unless Terminal tells you “Command line tools are already installed”, in which case, jump to Step 7.
4. Another pop-up for the Xcode License Agreement will appear.
Click “Agree”.
5. The Xcode developer software will install, which usually takes around 15 minutes.
6. The Xcode installation is complete when a pop-up appears stating:
“The software was installed”.
Click “Done” to exit the installer.
7. Let’s confirm Xcode installed successfully before proceeding. Navigate to the following directory:
Macintosh HD / Library / Developer / CommandLineTools
If the folder “CommandLineTools” exists, then Xcode is installed, then we can proceed.
B – TERMINAL PERMISSIONS
8. We also have to make sure that Terminal has the correct permissions needed to perform its functions.
Open System Settings, then navigate to:
Privacy & Security / App Management
9. Click the “+” icon and type in your workstation PW if prompted, then “Modify Settings”.
10. Navigate to:
Applications / Utilities / Terminal, then press “Open”.
11. A pop-up will appear stating “Terminal will not be able to update or delete other applications until it is quit. You can choose to quit “Terminal” now, or do it on your own later.”
Click “Quit & Reopen”. Within “App Management” of System Settings, Terminal should appear.
UNINSTALL PREVIOUS PLUGINS
Before you install any of the plugins, if you previous have anything Arturia related, you’ll likely need to uninstall it.
Refer to instructions in “0 Clean-Up (if needed).
C – INSTALL THE DESIRED PLUGINS
12. Disable your internet. This is important so nothing phones home during or after the install process.
13. Install whichever of the plugins are present inside of the “1 – Installers” folder.
You can either install all of them, or the ones you’d like. Keep track of which ones you install, as you’ll
need to patch each one of them.
D – PATCHING THE DESIRED PLUGINS
14. Open a Terminal window, and enter “sudosh”
( indicates the pressing of your spacebar, don’t actually type )
15. Navigate to the “2 – Patcher” directory and drag the “ArturiaFx.command” file into Terminal.
Don’t press Enter yet. You should see something like this:
“sudo sh /Users/YourUserName/FilePath/Patch/ArturiaFx.command”
16. If that looks similar / correct, press Enter/Return. Enter your password (you won’t see the keystrokes register), then hit Enter/Return again.
17. Let the patcher do its thing. You’ll know the patching is complete when no movement has occurred for any
longer than a minute. Go back to Step 14 for each Patcher that you need to run (each plugin installed requires
their own patcher).
18. Once patching is complete, quit Terminal. There should be no prompt that anything is active.
If you see such message, then the patcher isn’t complete yet.
19. Reboot your workstation. Plugins will not appear in your DAW unless this has been completed.
E – LITTLE SNITCH
20. With your internet still off, make sure that Arturia Software Center is added to Little Snitch as a rule under “Deny Incoming Connections” & also “Deny Outgoing Connections “so that it doesn’t phone home to Arturia servers and un-patch the plugins. You’ll also want to add your DAW as a similar rule to ensure the plugins aren’t phoning home when loaded. This is the primary reason plugins that work initially get uncracked. There are torrents for Little Snitch on mactorrent.net should you need.
21. Fire up your DAW, and plugins should be patched!
