Description:
Absynth 6 marks the return of the legendary semi-modular synthesizer. Designed for crafting evolving, “breathing” textures, it enables the creation of truly unique sounds. Powerful enough for complex sound design yet intuitive enough for beginners, it allows for the creation of vivid, dynamic sounds perfect for cinematic scores, ambient soundscapes, and electronic music.
Overview:
More than just a synthesizer: At the heart of Absynth 6 lies a hybrid engine that combines granular, frequency modulation (FM), wavetable, and subtractive synthesis, complemented by deep modulation capabilities and a suite of creative effects. Three oscillator channels offer a blend of structured unpredictability and boundless experimental potential—the perfect solution for sounds that evolve, shift, and surprise.
Discover new sounds
The Preset Explorer allows for intuitive sound discovery, moving beyond simple text-based browsing. Navigate a sonic landscape where the visual representation of relationships between tones leads to unexpected discoveries and streamlines your workflow.
Go beyond ADSR
Absynth 6’s 68-point envelope system features looping, breakpoint curves, sustain stages, and time-synced transitions, alongside dedicated LFOs. These flexible shapes enable the creation of evolving textures and rhythmic motion that far exceed the limitations of standard ADSR envelopes.
Transform your presets
Find inspiration in just a few clicks with the Mutator. Use it to reshape existing presets into entirely new sounds, instantly generating fresh variations. Track the evolution of your sounds, allowing you to easily revisit and refine your favorite sonic creations.
Sonic alchemy
Transform textures using Absynth’s signature granular effects. Aetherizer turns any sound into a shimmering atmosphere, while the Cloud Filter introduces spectral movement and tonal coloration. Together, they create a sense of motion that breathes life into your mix.
