The 707 defined countless early Detroit Techno and Chicago House tracks and remains widely used today. It’s a unique hybrid of the LinnDrum and the 909, featuring Italo-style kicks, Prince-esque rimshots, house-style hi-hats, punchy 80s toms, and much more. But this library goes far beyond your average 707 sample pack. While the original machine lacked tuning controls, ours features a custom oscillator that modulates the sample rate for each voice—offering a wide range of tuning options and circuit-bending madness. Plus, it was recorded using high-quality tubes, a mastering-grade reel-to-reel tape machine, and Apogee converters. This kit is truly unique and sounds amazing!
