Description: In every note of this classic instrument, you can hear its inner workings—the clatter of hammers, the buzz of reeds, and the subtle irregularities that imbue every note with characteristic imperfections. Play hard and it growls; play softly and it purrs and sings. Whether it’s funk, jazz, rock, or something in between, it fits perfectly into any context. It is no surprise that it has become a legend in its own right. In fact, it is one of the few electric pianos to stand the test of time, remaining just as relevant today as when it first appeared in the 1950s. We are, of course, talking about the timeless “Wurly.”
This EKX for EZkeys 2 features a meticulously preserved and restored instrument from the mid-1970s. It was recorded via both direct input (DI) and a vintage combo amp using a ribbon microphone, giving you two completely contrasting tones. In the extensive preset collection, these timbres are blended and saturated with various effects, ranging from the instrument’s built-in tremolo to chorus, reverb, distortion, and amp modeling. For even greater sonic variety and richness, several presets incorporate subtly layered synth brass, bells, and atmospheric sounds. Expect a full tonal range: from a completely dry, close sound to one that is warm, smoky, gritty, fat, and grainy. If you are looking for a vintage vibe that never goes out of style, this EKX is for you.

Copy the “EZK2-VintageVibes” folder to the directory containing your other EZkeys libraries.
Copy the file “000754@EKX_VINTAGE_VIBES” from the “Midi” folder to the MIDI directory where your other EZkeys MIDI grooves are stored.
