A real-time granular effect. Feed any signal into the input, and it is broken down into clouds of grains that can be modified, inverted, reversed, and scattered, then spatially distributed using built-in effects.
Overview
A central three-position transposition panel lets you “play” the shimmer, create chorus-like effects, generate massive pads from basic sounds, and turn anything into an arpeggio. Conversely, transpose sounds down to create huge bass drones and ominous atmospheric textures.
Sync the GRFX controls to create rhythmic sequences, glitch percussion, and creative delay-like effects, or leave them in free-running mode for organic sonic evolution and wild, unpredictable behavior. Probability-based routing allows you to process a portion of the granular output through an additional multi-effect chain for even more detailed, layered processing. To top it all off, there are four multi-waveform LFOs capable of modulating virtually any plugin parameter—including the LFOs themselves.
