DeeQ is a single-band dynamic EQ filter that automatically adjusts EQ parameters based on the incoming envelope or external sidechain audio. With DeeQ, you can do everything from small adjustments, like clearing up space in a mix, to creative wah-style effects.
Dynamic EQ
DeeQ lets you dynamically adjust the frequency, gain, and Q value of the filter—either from the incoming audio or from an external sidechain audio. You can apply a pre-filter EQ to the detector to react only to specific frequencies, giving you complete control over your sound.
Sidechain Detection
Using sidechain detection, you can dynamically shape audio using another audio channel as a source. For example, you can automatically roll off the mids during vocals or roll off the sub-bass when the bass kicks in.
Mid/Side
With the addition of Mid/Side modes, you can dynamically adjust the stereo range of your sound. Make the bass mono when the kick is playing, or boost the treble on a vocal take.
