Installing the R2R System

  • Remove outdated Network Block Runtime v1.x and v2.x (C:\Program Files\TEAM R2R\Network Block Runtime folder. To remove, run unins000.exe)
  • Install TEAM R2R Root Certificate (R2RCA.cer) – if you previously installed a certificate from R2R, skip this step.
    How to install the R2RCA.cer certificate

    · Win+R > enter certmgr.msc > Enter > Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates > Right-click on “Certificates” (GIF) > All tasks > import > point to the R2RCA.cer
    file · Restart the OS
    · You can check whether the certificate was installed using the R2RCERTEST.exe file after restarting the OS.

     

  • Install R2R System v1.4.0.exe – if you have already installed the latest ( 1.4.0 ) version, skip this step.
    If desired, after installing the R2R System, you can run WitchConfig.exe and enter the data (the “User Information” tab), which will be automatically entered when you launch any new keygen (aka *.r2rwm) from R2R

Sonar Installation

  1. Remove previous activation.
    Delete the registry value if it exists.
    Branch:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Sonar

    Values:

    BLUserId
    BLUserName
    LogonData

    Delete activation files (optional):

    %PROGRAMDATA%\Cakewalk\Sonar\Command Center\Abbadon.cxa
    %PROGRAMDATA%\Cakewalk\Sonar\Command Center\Zappa.cxa
  2. Install Sonar.
  3. Block the program’s access to the Internet using a firewall or enter the following addresses in the hosts file:
    0.0.0.0 www.bandlab.com
    0.0.0.0 api2.amplitude.com
    0.0.0.0 www.google-analytics.com
  4. Launch Sonar ► Menu [Help] ► Offline Activation ► Export Activation Request and save the file (.crq), writing your name if you are registered on the site, or any name if you are not registered. (Use only Latin characters)
  5. Run WM_BandLab.r2rwm , press Generate, point to the previously saved file (.crq) and save the new resulting file (.dat)
  6. Return to Sonar ► Menu [Help] ► Offline Activation ► Import Activation Response and point to the saved file (.dat)
  7. Restart Sonar.
