Equilibrium 3 is the third installment in the Equilibrium series, created by sound designer and producer Arksun and curated by Luftrum.
While the first two volumes were dedicated to winter and autumn, Equilibrium 3 takes the journey to spring. The sound has become lighter, shimmering, and more vibrant – filled with microscopic sparks of movement, a gentle upward drift, and a melodic energy that naturally strives to move forward.
And throughout it all, Equilibrium 3 bears the unmistakable signature of Arksun, which defines the series, with expressive patches featuring delicate modulation and a strong emphasis on playability.
Equilibrium 3 features 64 new presets for Omnisphere 3. Some are soft and shimmering like early morning light, crafted for sweeping harmonies and slow, emotional arcs that unfold over time. Others convey the awakening spirit of spring—from crystalline polysynths and glowing pads to vibrant electronic leads and arpeggios pulsating with organic life. But there’s also heft here—from analog basses and distorted textures to hidden cinematic colors, all balanced and adaptable to a variety of electronic genres.
Equilibrium 3 also includes a bonus: Equilibrium 3 Mutations—a separate set of 32 selected mutations created using the new Mutation feature in Omnisphere 3. We generated over 400 variations from the core presets and then selected the best presets for this additional bonus set.
Each preset, sorted by Spectrasonics categories and preserving several decibels of headroom, has dedicated assignments for the modulation wheel, aftertouch, and UserCC slot. This makes it easy to map a UserCC to any MIDI CC of your choice for a more personalized and expressive performance.
Installation :
• Option 1: Open Omnisphere > Install .omnisphere > Select the *.omnisphere file
• Option 2: For an alternative installation, place the Equilibrium 3 folder in *\STEAM\Omnisphere\Settings Library\Patches
