Omnisphere Niebla is a collection of 120 cinematic patches for the Spectrasonics Omnisphere synthesizer. It includes 114 exclusive sound sources recorded from electric guitars and processed to make them dirty, gritty, and full of character. It uses only these new sound sources, not the stock ones from Omnisphere or any other kit.
Like its spiritual predecessor, Omnisphere Altura, Niebla is an excellent toolkit for creating music for thrillers, horror films, and virtually any genre that requires psychological tension. This sound set is inspired by composers such as Charlie Clouser, Mark Korven, John Murphy, and the Newton Brothers.
Niebla’s Omnisphere makes extensive use of the modulation wheel. In many cases, this can completely transform a patch, so I encourage you to experiment.
