An English spinet built by Thomas Hitchcock in London in 1718. Hitchcock’s instruments are widely regarded as the finest-sounding spinets ever built. Only about 36 of these masterpieces remain in existence. This unique instrument in the Andreas Beurmann collection remains in excellent condition and is fully playable despite its age. Now, for the first time, it is available for your sampler, presented in its original 403 Hz tuning (440 Hz presets are also included).
