Ryan Schwabe to emulate two of his favorite mastering hardware devices. Gold Clip utilizes cutting-edge technologies to create a versatile,
high-precision clipping effect, a unique amplitude compression effect called GOLD, and a high-frequency contouring effect
called ALCHEMY.
Features :
• Clipper: The heart of the plugin, offering three peak processing algorithms:
– Classic: Emulation of a classic mastering converter with a soft character.
– Modern: A more aggressive mode, suitable for modern dance and pop music.
– Hard: The cleanest mode, keeping the signal untouched right up to the clipping threshold.
• Gold: A unique amplitude saturation effect that increases the density and weight of a signal without using traditional compression.
• Alchemy2: A dynamic high-frequency processor that works on the “digital tape” principle. It softens the harsh harmonics
that occur during clipping.
• Box Tone: Emulates the frequency response of hardware devices. Uses a linear-phase EQ to gently roll off highs above 1 kHz.
• Clip Clock: A unique indicator that records the maximum clipping level and the exact time in the track
where it occurred.
• Parallel Mixer: Allows independent control of dry and wet signals for parallel processing,
unlike simple Mix controls.
• A/B: Comparison is implemented through the plugin’s built-in state switching function, allowing you to instantly compare
two different settings configurations.
