Question: Is this an update or a full installer ?
Answer: This is a full installer from scratch. Does not require previous versions.
Question: Do I need to remove old versions, other builds, etc.? How deep should I clean the system ?
Answer: No, there is no need to remove anything. The installer will automatically detect and update any FabFilter plugins that are already installed, if any.
Question: Is it possible to install over older versions ?
Answer: Yes, installation over older versions is supported. All plugins will be updated to the latest ones.
Question: Is the HCiSO build compatible with installed MORiA plugins ?
Answer: According to the HCiSO team itself, yes, it is. They write that their installer does not touch AAX plugins, and if you have MORiA versions, AAX will continue to work. However, I have not personally checked this.
Question: None of the presets open for me . What should I do ?????
Answer: After the update, this happens to those who have enabled synchronization of the Documents folder in iCloudDrive – the path to the folder with presets is transferred to it. Download factory presets from the official website ( https://www.fabfilter.com/support/downloads ) and unpack them to Documents/FabFilter/Presets (/Users/<YOUR NAME>/Documents/FabFilter/Presets)
