Description : Emerald 2 is based in part on the unrivaled processors created in Germany between the 1960s and 1970s, famous for their unique design.
The Emerald filter expands on its big brother’s filter section, offering low-pass and high-pass filter cells with selectable slopes starting at 6 dB/octave and going up to an unusual 36 dB/octave. It also includes the same preamp stage as the EQ in the same plugin suite.
Personally, I found the sound of the EQs and especially the preamps to be incredible.

Additional information :

No installation required, just unzip the “emerald” folder to your vst3 plugins folder. For any acustica plugin you need to install the acustica framework, available here

Introducing Emerald 2: Inspired by Vintage German CPUs

Emerald Filter
The Emerald filter is part of Emerald 2 and draws inspiration from the exceptional processors created in Germany in the 1960s and 1970s. It expands on the filtering capabilities of its larger counterpart. The low-pass and high-pass filter slots allow you to adjust the slope from a smooth 6 dB/octave to an unusual 36 dB/octave. It also includes the same preamp stage as the plugin suite’s EQ.

Emerald E200 Equalizer
The Emerald 2 E200 is a dual mono equalizer emulation modeled after the famous German parametric equalizer. It features a preamp stage and seven individually switchable filters. These filters can be fine-tuned, from tight notches to wide bell curves. You can also control the gain in the +/- 12 dB range, adjust the bass and treble, and use low-pass/high-pass filters with a steep 36 dB/octave slope. This equalizer has been popular with top sound designers and famous bands like Pink Floyd in the past, making it a versatile solution for a variety of audio tasks.
Otherwise, just thanks to the forum, 90% of my plugin library was downloaded from here, hahaha, this is just a way to say symbolic thanks. Greetings from Brazil!
