Description : deCoda is the easiest way to find out what songs are made of!
Decode can decode any song so you can learn how to play it in minutes. In a few seconds, DeCoda will show you key, tempo, chords, verse and chorus, and more.
Lay out a song in seconds – Use deCoda to add your favorite song and let deCoda help you figure out how it works. Inspired and advised by those in the music and recording industry, deCoda offers features that make learning a song easier than ever. deCoda was designed by Zplane. zplane technologies are used to make many of the world’s greatest hits by the best artists and producers, and the same know-how is used for deCoda.
Navigation– DeCoda’s knowledge of rhythm, tempo and song structure allows you to navigate in musical terms rather than samples or seconds. Explore a song by section, bar or beat by pressing keys or touching the screen. Automatically create looped loops and expand those loops just as fast. Focus on your tool, not navigation.
Chord and Structure Recognition – deCoda decodes your song’s musical data such as rhythm, tempo, key, chords and song structure. deCoda’s artificial intelligence makes educated guesses on the data for each song, providing a good starting point for your edits. In some cases, you don’t need to make any changes!
Piano roll with spectral view– Pianoroll shows the melodic content of your song and allows you to select the notes you can use for transcription. The results can be played and exported in MIDI format to your DAW or recording software.
Focus mode allows you to highlight the instrument in the stereo mix that you want to hear. And when you’re done highlighting the details, then switch to back focus mode to remove the tool and return to the whole track.
zplane’s Elastique Pro– one of the world’s best and most commonly used algorithms for stretching audio material gj time. And, of course, he is also inside deCoda. You can slow down or speed up the tempo and change the key to suit your instrument or voice. deCoda also detects the song’s frequency settings and automatically matches it to your chosen frequency setting – no manual tuning required.
Metronome – deCoda can add a metronome that marks the beat on the 4th, 8th or 16th beat – always in sync with your song. It can also add a 1- or 2-measure count-in and even detect potential rhythm continuations so you never miss the first note.
Internal library– Anything you add to deCoda will be stored in the internal library. No more searching for where to save your project or find the appropriate audio file. Just enter the name of the song in the search bar and you will immediately be right where you left off last time.
Share – Want to share a project with a bandmate, producer, friend or student? No problem, just export the project and everything, including the audio, becomes one easily accessible file. In addition, you can export a slow-motion version of the loop you’re working on to put it on any playback device. And just send the notes you’ve identified to a MIDI file or directly to any recording software of your choice.
Light / dark theme– Wherever you use deCoda, we have the right theme for you. Sitting in a coffee shop doing your transcriptions, a light theme will give you the contrast you need. While the dark theme will reduce eye strain when practicing in the studio or exploring a song at night.
•(fix) keyboard shortcuts weren’t saved.
•(fix) crash when exporting audio loop.
•(fix) live input plugin was not unloaded when changing project.
