Based on a classic
film invented in 1958 by Charlie Watkins*, the Copicat* delay became an instant hit. It featured on countless albums in the 1960s and 1970s and was used by such great bands as The Shadows and Pink Floyd. Originally intended for guitar, it is now in demand in studios around the world.
Echo Cat recreates the sound and feel of the original device with realistic tape simulation and three playback heads. It adds the necessary features that any modern delay plugin should have. These include M/S processing, tempo-sync delay time, feedback filters, varispeed, modulation, and ducking.
