Additional Information :
Requires R2R’s Synchron Player.
To use, install everything from the R2R package:
Move the file with the scary numbered name and *.R2RVSLSYN extension (Magic file) to “%PROGRAMDATA%\VSL\Vienna Synchron Player\R2R\”. Launch VSLEMU CacheBuilder; its shortcut will appear on your desktop after installation. Then you can simply use it. The *.syvolume file is the library file itself. You can store it anywhere, just remember to specify the path to the library in Synchron Player.
SP can find libraries in subfolders, meaning if you have several libraries in a shared folder, you only need to specify the path to that folder, not to each individual library.
It’s important to note that this installation method doesn’t work with the full Piano, Harp, and Organ libraries, as they use a different player. For these libraries, the installation method is similar, but the Magic file must be placed in “%PROGRAMDATA%\VSL\Vienna Synchron Pianos\R2R\”.
It turns out that the Magic file name doesn’t affect the operation of VSLEMU and R2R’s Synchron Player, so you can safely rename a file with a scary name to “Synchron Prime Brass MAGIC,” for example.
