Description : Combining funk and rock with elements of modern progressive jazz, Funk Rock Fusion Vol.1 offers a delicious menu of impressive and soulful instrumentals. The kits contain intricate arrangements, complex chord progressions and great guitar, synth and trumpet solo performances. All performances, of course, at the highest level.
The instrumentation also includes synth and electric bass (including slap), electric piano, marimba, multiple synth parts, a range of clean, distorted and funky wah guitars, a horn section performance and two different drum kits.
Over 3 GB of data with almost 650 loops and phrases spread across 5 extended sets. Each of these sets contains 5 or 6 musical sections including intro, outro, breaks and 2 or 3 main sections. Thus, the construction of the song is simple and very flexible. In addition, many sections feature extended loops with complex chord changes. As with the progressive style, tonal changes are often used for added musical interest. The tempos of the five sets are between 110 and 142 beats per minute.
As always, the highest standards of signal chain recording were used for impeccable sound quality. For bass and electric guitar, each phrase is presented as a mic and DI version. The former gives you instant access to the perfect mix-ready sound, while the latter lets you add your own amp simulations and ambience for added flexibility. Drum parts are available as pre-mixed loops for immediate use, as well as standalone kick, snare, hat, tom, cymbal and overhead loops so you can fully customize your drum mix as needed.
These detailed kits provide everything you need, whether as a base for your own improvisations, a base for song ideas, or as a source of inspiration for a media composer’s instrumental accent. For an ultra-cool, super-smooth, and fairly complex fusion of funk and rock, look no further than Funk Rock Fusion Vol.1!
