Description : X is essentially a stereo imager or stereo expandable plugin, with some extra features you won’t find anywhere else! This plugin combines three separate modules that, in addition to the incredible stereo editing capabilities, allow you to use a few neat tricks to make everything sound as solid as possible.
You have a main module with a large “X-Crank” in the center. Just turn on this bad guy and you’ll instantly hear the effect in action, transforming even a boring flat sound into sound that is absolutely transcendent to life. Adjust attack and release as well as exit and threshold. Adjusting the threshold here will allow you to find the point where your input signal triggers the dynamic image envelope and really adds noticeable dimension and character to your sounds. Some amazing presets are included for various instrument categories including vocals, leads, pads, basses, even audio restoration and mastering presets.
X was created with the goal of achieving the best possible sound in two channels. Using several psychoacoustic effects, it quickly became a unique effect beyond a simple visualization tool.
