This IR kit is based on our vintage 1971 Marshall™ FULL STACK large checkerboard. The 4×12 Angled (A) cabinet is equipped with original Pulsonic T1221 G12M 75Hz Greenback speakers with the “003” cone. The 4×12 Straight (B) cabinet is equipped with original Pulsonic T1281 G12H 55Hz Greenback speakers with the “014” cone. This FULL STACK kit includes complete XR IR kits for both Cab A and B, which are sold separately, as well as an additional 108 Cab Blend IR modules, which are only available in this FULL STACK kit. Each Cab Blend IR module is a 50/50 mix of a G12M 4x12A and a G12H 4x12B cab. The Cab Blends folder includes all mic types and positions with the usual processing options [Unaltered, Enhanced and Top Boost].
This set of impulse responses is part of our new XR IR Collection [XR = Extreme Realism], which is the result of countless hours of impulse response experimentation, development and A/B testing. The XR Collection is our newest and most accurate line of impulse responses we have ever created. When compared to a real mic’d cab using the same amp, it is difficult to tell the difference. We are proud to say that these impulse responses provide the most accurate reproduction of the cab in terms of timbre, feel, breakup quality and harmonic information when used. Unlike our previous tone stacks, these impulse responses are universal and can be used on any platform that supports impulse response loading and do not rely on specific amp settings to sound correct. Included in the kit is a Tone Factor Starters folder with 10 hand-picked impulse responses from the kit to help you get started quickly.

This kit includes 9 different dynamic, condenser, tube, and ribbon microphones positioned in 4 different positions on the speaker in single and multi-mic mixing configurations. Each single-mic IR microphone is available in 3 options: Unaltered Mic, Enhanced, and Top Boost, providing pristine studio tonal processing for maximum impact.
