Detailed Product Description:
The SLM2 is a smart stereo volume maximizer including βanalog spiceβ and 16x oversampling. The purpose of the design was to maximize the volume of the sound signal while maintaining transparency.
The SLM2 DSP analyzes each sample of the incoming stereo signal within a certain period of time, and calculates the optimal volume increase. This guarantees the highest possible transparency.
The overall volume can be further increased with the next stage, the optional Clipper. Signal smoothing can be reduced by enabling oversampling.
SLM2 is used in all limiting situations like track / bus and master restrictions.
