In our first sound set for Omnisphere, we wanted to explore ideas of opposite and in between. Rengoku translates to “purgatory” in Japanese which ideally represents a small cinematic collection of angelic, demonic and timbres of an uncertain nature. This volume focuses more on angelic feelings with lush pads, bright keys and exquisite guitar sounds. The mod wheel is designed to change the feeling or atmosphere or gently add elements such as fire and wind.
While it is certainly possible to create compositions solely using Rengoku, it was designed as a companion library to give your compositions ethereal beauty and that magic spark. The library contains 24 custom sound samples and 70 patches divided into their various categories. We hope you find the sound set enlightening and ethereal. The darker Rengoku Volume Two will be released later this year.
All of our Omnisphere collections are fully compatible with Plugin-Guru Unify. The extension files are included Free of charge.
Installation: open Omnisphere -> Utility -> Install .omnisphere -> select this .omnisphere file -> agree with the installer to add the found presets, soundbanks and other things -> Done
