with Stack – Spectral Zone.
Play rich chords with just a single note: Stack combines up to eight pitch-filtered spectral copies at the playback position to easily create chords. You can even activate the MIDI Learn function to play chords in Stack. Adjust levels, pitch, or panning, and modulate the level of each Stack to create dynamic, ethereal soundscapes.

Freely combine up to eight operators, use them as carriers, or feed them into feedback loops. With the powerful Algorithm Finder—a comprehensive and easy-to-use algorithm builder—you can create everything from classic DX7 tones to cutting-edge FM sounds. And if that’s not enough, HALion now also supports importing DX7 and TX81Z SYX files into the FM Zone.

The HALion Spectral Oscillator features our new time-stretching and resynthesis algorithm, which sounds stunning even at extreme settings. It not only allows you to change playback speed in real time without affecting pitch, but also transform samples into entirely new sounds. Its true power lies in features such as formant shifting, spectral filtering, clarity, inharmonicity, and the ability to preserve previous spectral features when reaching the beginning or end of a sample. Furthermore, the new FFT mode provides a precise and clear representation of the spectrum itself.
