Spectrasonics presents an updated version of its iconic software instrument.
Compared to the previous version of the synthesizer, Omnisphere 3 features 18 new libraries.
These libraries cover a wide range of contemporary musical genres, from retro electronics to soundtrack backing tracks, ambient spaces, and vibrant techno sounds.
All libraries were created in-house at Spectrasonics under the supervision of sound engineer Eric Persing.

In addition, the instrument is equipped with advanced synthesis and sound manipulation capabilities. For example, the interface now features a global control screen for quickly changing any patch parameters. The synthesizer also features a mutation function, allowing you to create multiple patch variations with a single click.
The developers are devoting special attention to the expanded effects section. The instrument is equipped with 36 new filters and an imitation of an analog saturation circuit. The synthesizer also includes a function that recreates the imprecision of oscillators, a glissando effect in the style of the Yamaha CS-80, and simulating the portamento curves of vintage electronic instruments.
According to Spectrasonics, the expanded sound processing section will enable the creation of unique instruments that combine the signature elements of other devices. This allows musicians to build their dream synth by combining Moog filters with the character of Yamaha and the unique features of other synthesizers.
Another important new feature is the addition of hardware integration. Now users can not only control Omnisphere 3 with connected synthesizers or controllers, but also manage instruments within the plug-in window.
According to the company, Omnisphere supports synthesizers and MIDI controllers from “all major manufacturers.” The plugin’s memory stores over 300 preset profiles, allowing you to control your hardware devices right out of the box.
Other notable additions include the standalone Omnisphere FX plug-in, which comes bundled with the synthesizer. It allows users to utilize over 35 Omnisphere 3 effects independently of the synthesis engine. The effects are available as a rack with a separate set of settings.
The developers have redesigned the preset and patch browser, making it more user-friendly. For example, the display of categories and the directory tree has become simpler and clearer, and the browser itself can now hide directories and individual files from the list. A simplified label system and new library images have also been added.
According to Spectrasonics, Omnisphere 3 is fully compatible with all patches, libraries, and presets from previous versions of the synthesizer. To upgrade to the new version, you’ll need to transfer your settings by exporting and importing a preset file.
Treatment :
Uninstall the previous version (read Uninstall & Clean Up in the R2R.txt file)
1. Install Setup Network Block Runtime v2.3.0.exe
2. Install Setup Omnisphere v3.0.0d.exe
3. Authorization ( We recommend logging in to the standalone version ) Disconnect your computer from the network. Otherwise, ChallengeCode will not display due to URL redirection.
Launch the program. Authorization will begin.
Click “REQUEST AUTHORIZATION.” A browser will open. Check the URL of the browser you’re using. It looks something like this: https://www.spectrasonics.net/authorization?prod=Omnisphere&vers=3.0.0d&c…8KlPUBqkTBx%3fB8
Tip: The URL is also available at “%LOCALAPPDATA%\Spectrasonics\rhurltemp.html”
Run our keygen. Select the product you want to activate.
Copy the ChallengeCode from the URL (the value after “ch=”) into the keygen (For example, “ch= SmMY%256QnT%3dXyx38KlPUBqkTBx%3fB8 ” is the ChallengeCode.)
Click “Generate” in the keygen. The license will be generated.
Copy the license from the keygen into the registration window. Click “PASTE” in the program.
Click “CONTINUE” in the program.
Done, restart the application.
When i try to locate the steam folder that i’ve place in C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\ i have a error message : C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\STEAM is not a valid STEAM folder how can i fix that ??
DOES ANYONE TRY IF IT WORKS? OR TCD IS EASIER FOR SETUP?
Standalone works fine, but when opened in Studio One as vst3, the key does not work..
i cant run the keygen some reason. it says “This app can’t run on your PC”. i have tried compatibility mode on all modes.
Unzip the library file,install the steam,then uninstall omni3 and CLEAN in vst3 Dir,omni3 folder..,CLEAN in %appdata% spectraspnics folder,,, then install the R2R version as described,,, atleast for me both standalone and vst3 are working (i use studio one 7)
how do you unzip the library file and install the steam file. i installed everything how it said but my steam folder isnt valid.
i got it to reconzie the steam folder but i keep getting the error loading wave form msg
ok i tested it. 100% work. just copy the new steam folder over the old one and then install r2r stuff and omni3. all work perfect with all Extensions ! tnx R2R

So, Yaniv, you didn’t uninstall all the directories according to the R2R instructions?
Can you have both versions Omnisphere 2,7 and 3 installed on the same disk?? I don`t want to blow up my projects… my omnisphere 2,7 R2R is working fine… what about the third party libraries will they work or should be reinstalled?

Doesn’t work .Authorization just keeps loading every time I load it back up and STEAM folder is incorrect.
if you struggling to activate (assuming you installed everything properly). check print spooler is disabled.
1. win + r (press)
2. services.msc (type)
3. find print spooler (check status if it’s disabled or not disabled)
— if it’s disabled then spooler is not the issue —
4. double click print spooler
5. disable print spooler (apply)
6. restart computer
