Dave Hill has his own world in Superior, Wisconsin. At his Inland Sea Recording Studio, he is a music engineer without compromise. He actually built the studio himself because, when he started out, he couldn’t afford the necessary equipment. So he designed all the electronics needed to achieve the highest sound quality for any recording. And then, all of these machines, designed for his own use, were produced by his company, Crane Song, for other sound engineers around the world.
