Rust Vol.2 version 2.0 contains more than 3100 samples of “prepared metal/rust” instruments. This is one of the best and most comprehensive type collections. While recording Rust Vol. 2, about 81 different kinds of “tools” were used – from giant aluminum poles to metal bathtubs, from doors used as impact instruments to massive hangers, from metal steps to large tower rails. The library also includes a collection recorded in the sculpture park. It contains no less than 17 different metal sculptures, each with their own tonal characteristics. All instruments have undergone traditional Soundiron testing, which includes the use of fists, hands, hammers and other tools. In addition, the library meets Soundiron standards in terms of high-speed use of layers and a cyclic algorithm.
