Balinese Flutes , or suling , are solo whistle flutes played in gamelans (traditional Indonesian orchestras) and other ensembles. They are usually made of bamboo and have six playing holes. Flutes vary in size, from the huge suling gambuh to the tiny suling cantilan. There are four in this collection.
Using advanced phase matching techniques, we have created a dynamic and expressive instrument that is easy and inspiring to play.
Choose individual flutes or play a single combined instrument. Three phase-matched dynamic layers allow you to simulate expressive breath and vibrato. The micro-tuning module offers Balinese presets or Western scales.
