The pack includes a wide range of saxophone samples, showcasing smooth horn stacks and post-bop waves, as well as free jazz chromatic intervals and harmonies. In addition, you’ll find expressive drum loops, an unsteady and mind-blowing guitar, and warm, shiny rhodes all providing a significant collection of sounds from that era.
This package was recorded live in Bristol, Tennessee at Classic Recording Studios with the help of engineer Mike Stevenson. Together, the team was able to capture and recreate the sounds of the most unique and interesting period in the history of jazz. In addition to the half.cool team, famous New York jazz musicians Walter Stinson, Drew Vandewinkel, Keenin Omari and Juno Arreglado play in Modal Jazz & Post Bop.
