Heatwave is a fast, effective and free way to add grit and aggression to almost any sound while maintaining its original transients. Add harsh distortion to drum lines without losing the punchy attack. Boost the funky bass without softening the slap. Ditch the acoustic guitar while maintaining the intricacies of fingerpicking.
Heatwave uses a minimal but inspiring interface, dominated by a single control that allows you to “add warmth” to the sound. All the magic is hidden behind the scenes, so the user does not need to learn anything technical to use the plugin skillfully. Heatwave preserves and can even exaggerate transients through its integrated use of transient shaping, saturation, compression and EQ.
