This course will teach you how to make ready-made sets without any prior knowledge of music production or DJing. You can use the same principles for EDM, hip hop or even new music – it will work for all genres!
This course is designed for both beginners and advanced users who want to expand their knowledge of creating mixtapes. We’ll cover all the methods the biggest DJ uses to get professional-sounding radio mixtapes, all made in the Ableton Live free trial.
There are many different courses for DJs that cover a lot of different things and how to play live, but in this course I will rather focus on the aspect of creating mixtapes and how to create ready-made sets that are used in clubs, but mainly on radio. shows, podcasts, or when you upload your mixtape to Mixcloud or Soundcloud.
This course is for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. If you’ve never used Ableton Live before, that’s fine too. This course includes an introductory section in which we will download Ableton Live and show you how to manage the main features of Live so you can get started.
No matter what level of experience you have or what kind of music you create, this course will take you to a whole new level of knowledge. I’ll show you step by step how to create a complete Ableton Live mixtape with effects like EQ & Reverb.
If you prefer to create pre-made mixtape sets or learn different DJ techniques and techniques such as workflow, this course is perfect for you. Unlike other DJ courses, this course will cover everything from learning how to use Warp Markers in Ableton Live to creating Voice Over effects.
