Description : Volume 2 of the Emulator II OMI Universe follows from volume 1, adding more than 500 additional instruments and greatly expanding the sound palette of the first library. The emphasis this time around is slightly different from the wide range of classic analog and digital synths featured, while brass, strings and orchestral sounds are characterized by less choice but greater precision rather than the sheer breadth of sounds covered in volume 1. Wonderful patches are introduced in the form of synthesizers, keyboards and solo instruments, which can be selected on the left side of the instrument. The sounds are presented not only in the form of classic analog synths, but you will also get a modern crop of digital machines, so you will have the sound of both DX and D50 styles. This expanse of rich synth tones makes patch layering very useful: mixing an orchestral patch with a synth patch together almost always produces a very interesting result.
Ethnic instruments are also represented by a wide variety of folklore patches, as well as some local instruments from
different parts of the globe. And to back up your tracks, there’s some really heavy bass, both electro and synth, that will make your speakers shudder.
