Format: KONTAKT
Quality: 24 bit 48 kHz stereo

Description:
The Purgatory Creek Soundware Clavinet Collection includes the two most sought-after versions of the clavinet keyboard. Each captures the authentic sound of original instruments in great detail.

The collection includes all of the instruments shown below:
– Clavinet D6
– Clavinet C

The layout of the Kontakt instruments is similar. You will find emulation of the original instruments’ pickup and filter tabs, volume for the release and attack samples, and a two-band EQ. In addition, each has controls for the wah-wah (MIDI CC#01 controlled by default), saturation and reverb effects. Finally, a number of amp simulations are provided.
In all, you have two deeply sampled clavinets in a single collection at a very reasonable price.
Requires FULL version of Kontakt – will only run in demo mode in the Player.
Additional Information
The model D6 was by far the most popular version of the instrument and can be heard on many recordings from the 1970s and beyond.

– The four filter (tone) tabs of the original instrument are emulated.

The Clavinet C was made famous by Stevie Wonder’s recording of Superstition and was the predecessor to the more common D6 and E7.
Each of the four pickups for both the C was sampled at a minimum of eight velocity levels for full duration, providing an accurate sound with no artificial decay envelopes or sample loops. Release samples and attack noise samples are also included.
