PSP stereoController2 is designed to manage, configure and restore incorrectly recorded two-channel stereo tracks, as well as to process them in specialized applications or to create cool sound effects.
About the program :
PSP stereoController2 can be used in various situations:
an unbalanced stereo image due to level differences between channels, such as in stereo recordings with two microphones
slight time alignment shift between channels
the stereo image of the track is too narrow or too wide for mixing
when the central instrument appears to be shifted to one side
virtually simulates the position of an instrument in the sound field using a combination of level and delay changes.
one or both channels have reverse polarity, or the channels have swapped
Decoding a mid-range (MS) encoded track to L/R stereo.
reducing the stereo width of low frequencies or converting them to mono for proper reproduction by speakers or a subwoofer, or for reliable cutting of vinyl.
increasing the stereo width of the high frequencies to produce more ‘airy’ harmonics and spaciousness
fine-tuning the stereo image during mastering
