New opportunities:
• Sound Capture. Fluid Capture technology is unique in its ability to accurately
reproduce the sound of a device while simultaneously capturing the full
dynamics of each knob. This is achieved by capturing the device’s sound at various
settings and then refining the model to accurately reproduce the sampled
sound.
• Fluid IR Impulse Responses: Fluid IR impulse responses are an advanced type of impulse response that
captures more detailed sonic characteristics than traditional impulse responses. While standard impulse responses
only reproduce a driver’s frequency response, Fluid IR impulse responses also reproduce
the driver’s dynamic characteristics and their harmonics. This results in improved
sound quality, realism, naturalness, and
bass control.
• Smooth Convolution. Convolution is a mathematical process used to apply
an IR filter to an audio stream. Smooth convolution eliminates digital
artifacts typically encountered with conventional IR filter processing. It ensures
smooth switching between different IR filters and reduces CPU load.
• Completely redesigned application window. All areas of the THU window
have been redesigned and recreated. It’s now easier to browse
presets, model lists, unit models, and supercabinets, with efficient and fast filtering available
. Everything has become simpler and more ergonomic, significantly
increasing productivity.
• MIDI Bank Support. To accommodate the ever-growing number of presets, especially
in more complex configurations, we’ve added support for MIDI Bank Change messages
. Bank references are highlighted in a different color in the GUI
than preset references.
• Multi-line audio chain. Long audio chains are difficult to visualize using
the entire display area. Now they can be split and distributed across multiple
lines without any changes to audio processing.
