Publisher : Loot Audio
Format : Kontakt (5.8.1+/6.6.1+)
Quality : Stereo 44.1 kHz 16 bit

Description : Strings
In Oscillation Strings, everything is programmed into one NKI, which provides intuitive access to library management.

Instruments :
For all articulations you can choose violin, viola, cello or double bass. Everything is recorded dry using close miking and doubling (two copies layered on top of each other). This makes it easy to achieve a realistic sound of chamber strings.
Two different types of legato samples
Note changes are quick and decisive, just like the bow change occurs during a note change. Portamento changes provide a smoother, more romantic change of notes.
Clearing Unused Samples
If all samples are loaded at once, this takes up a significant amount of memory. To ease the load, there are options to clear (unload from RAM) unused rhythms, swells , and/or unused instruments.

Rhythms :
• Powerful eighth notes
• Middle quarter notes recorded at two speeds: 90 and 120 bpm
• Broad, expressive half notes

Double or Half Time Stretch
Everything is synced to the tempo, so if the project tempo is too fast or slow, the samples can stretch and sound unnatural. The interface includes options to reduce or increase the speed to avoid this stretching.

Fade-Ins
Like a synth, Oscillation Strings has attack and decay controls. The difference is that each position of the controls triggers a completely different set of samples. This opens up a variety of possibilities for phrase creation.

Custom Fade-Ins
If you don’t like samples, you can simply switch to Expression and use the modulation wheel to create your own phrases.

Compression
Compression increases the volume of soft notes. They can be a bit dramatic, and it’s nice to be able to tone them down. Because compression works on each individual note, it sounds more natural. You can’t get the same effect by simply turning on the compressor in Kontakt.
Polyphonic Legato
Legato in Oscillation Strings is one of the most unique features. Depending on where the overlapping notes are played, a specific legato sample will be selected, and the offset, volume, duration and fade-in are automatically adjusted by the script according to the specified value.

Features :
• Instruments: violin, viola, cello or double bass
• Rhythms: punchy eighth notes, mid-quarter notes, wide and expressive half notes
• Fade-ins
• User compression system
• User fade-ins
• Polyphonic legato
• Two different types of legato
