Temporal Texture Orchestra
How does time affect sound? Can sound exist without time? Can a single note have rhythm? This collection answers these questions with an unusual orchestra that seems to break the flow of time.
Orchestral ensembles and mid-sized choirs combine to create unique, shifting textures that are grounded in organic sound but rise subtly into the ether. Extended articulations and dynamic gestures add nuance and movement. With full sections, 10 individual ensembles, and memorable chronostructures, Time Macro is instant inspiration. This library is essential for all types of modern scores and is ideal for underscoring and sound design.
Unique Chronostructures
Looking at time in a musical context, we layered sounds on top of each other to create complex orchestral textures that we call Chronostructures. They are divided into two groups: Time Orchestra and Altered Time .
The Time Orchestra group features layered instruments playing sustain. Each carefully constructed patch is its own sound world, with undulating details that respond to the modulation wheel.
In the Altered Time group , the sustain has layers of instruments that move forward and backward, and they can be slowed down or sped up. The effect is mesmerizing, suspending the usual flow of time.
10 Instrumental Ensembles, 3 Full Sections
We’ve recorded 10 medium-sized orchestral ensembles, including strings, woodwinds, brass (including double-reed), harps, vibraphones, and female and male choirs. All ensembles feature sustain, extended articulations, and dynamic gestures, so you can layer sounds seamlessly.
For a more spacious sound, Time Macro provides full string, woodwind, and choir sections. These sections also perform sustain that matches the articulations of the rest of the collection, so everything fits together perfectly.
Recorded at Teldex
All instruments were sampled in detail in the main hall of Berlin’s famous Teldex Studio, allowing you to seamlessly combine these sounds with other Orchestral Tools libraries .
We recorded everything using 4 mic positions: spot mics close, a decca tree for the classic Teldex sound, additional A/B mics for clarity and a few ambient mics for ambience and space.

Installing the update :
1. Open the library folder and delete all folders and files except the Samples folder .
2. Copy the distribution folders and files (except the PAResources.zip archive ) to the root of the library folder .
The PAResources.zip archive is intended for users using the Kontakt installation with the tile browser or Komplete Kontrol. The contents of this archive should be extracted to a directory corresponding to your operating system.
