GENERAL CHANGES
• ADDED tracking of “Default” data compared to previous
versions of “Classic View settings”
• FIXED “File Menu” (“Load Recent”) remains open when hovering over after loading
• FIXED some content libraries not being on external drives on macOS
due to incorrect path construction
Installation :
1. Run and install Kontakt 8 8.4.1 Setup PC.exe
2. Run Kontakt 8.4.1 Patcher.exe
3. Click PATCH and patch the format you installed (VST3 or AAX)
4. Next, Patcher will ask to overwrite the NativeAccess.xml file, click “Yes”
5. Then click DONE
6. Enjoy!
Adding libraries :
Libraries are added using Kontakt_Button.exe,
located in C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8
Note :
The Kontakt_Button.exe file may be recognized by your antivirus system as malware and deleted.
To avoid this, add the Kontakt_Button.exe file and the C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8 folder to the exclusion in your antivirus,
as well as in Microsoft Defender:
How to do this:
“Right-click the Start icon – Settings – Update and security – Windows Security – Virus and threat protection
– Virus and threat protection settings – manage settings – Exclusions – add or remove exclusions”
