Description: Join us at the Rocket Carousel studio for an extensive series of videos featuring the multi-talented Greg Wells! Over the course of these eleven videos, the Grammy Award-winning producer dives into a multi-track recording session of Bea Munro’s The Other Side of Fear. Wells will guide you through his hybrid setup, which includes a bespoke Undertone Audio console, a selection of external hardware, and various plug-ins in Pro Tools. He starts mixing the project from the ground up, revealing his mixing template and processing methods for live drums, electric guitars, bass, vocals and the master bus. You’ll see how it uses hardware and software tools for EQ, compression, harmonic saturation, distortion and more, both directly and in parallel. Greg creates a static mix, then applies plug-ins and level automation until he reaches the point where he would like the performer to hear the recording.
