Mercuriall Audio has released an add-on for Ampbox: Rectofire.
Rectofire is a VST/AU/AAX/Standalone plugin based on MESA/Boogie Dual Rectifier Blackface, 90’s version G. Bundled with the popular 1MB boost mod, optional per channel.
Rectofire features:
• Accurate and detailed white box modeling is known to Mercuriall Audio.
• Implementation of Neural Hybrid Engine 2.0 in Rectofire. Further improvements to the simulation engine.
• Implementation of Power Link technology in Rectofire. Affects the connection of the power supply between the preamplifier and power amplifier. Improves palm muting and note attack clarity.
• Each channel has an additional 1 megabyte gain mod. More tightness, reinforcement and bite.
Along with the release of Rectofire, the Ampbox* platform is updated to version 1.1:
